Accept uncertainty
One factor that can play a very large role in those suffering from anxiety is the inability to accept or handle unpredictability.
Those who suffer the worst feel that they have to have one hundred percent certainty about what will or could happen. Anxiety and worry is seen by some as a way to guard against future events, the theory being if you worry enough about something you can prevent it from happening or somehow control the eventual outcome. The only issue with this way of thinking is that it simply does not work. Just thinking about things which could potentially go wrong, will not will not make life more predictable.
